Moose on the Loose is a new original acrylic painting inspired by a real event that happened in Merrickville, Ontario recently. A young moose found itself in the Rideau Canal and was unable to lift itself out along the steep banks. With the help of Parks Canada staff, local firefighters and a cheer squad the moose was able to make its was down through the locks on onto freedom.
